Prediction markets are high-risk. You can lose all of the funds you deposit. By using Afara Africa, you acknowledge each of the risks below.
Total loss
Every trade can be worth zero at resolution. Do not trade with money you cannot afford to lose. Past prices are not indicative of future outcomes.
Smart-contract risk
The Limitless protocol, the Base network, USDC, and any wallet you use are made of software that may contain bugs, may be exploited, or may behave unexpectedly. Funds held by smart contracts can be lost permanently and irreversibly.
Liquidity & price risk
Markets may have low liquidity, wide spreads, or rapid price movements. You may receive worse pricing than you expect, or be unable to exit a position at a fair price.
Resolution risk
Markets are resolved by the underlying protocol's process, which may be wrong, delayed, or disputed. We do not control resolutions and cannot reverse them.
Custody & key risk
You hold your own keys. If you lose your seed phrase, send funds to a wrong address, or sign a malicious transaction, your funds are gone. We cannot recover them.
Regulatory risk
Prediction markets, derivatives, and crypto assets are regulated differently across jurisdictions. Access may become restricted in your country at any time. You are responsible for understanding and complying with the laws that apply to you, including tax law.
Operational risk
The interface, wallet provider, RPC provider, or underlying protocol may go offline, return wrong data, or behave incorrectly. We do not guarantee uptime, accuracy, or availability.
