Terms of Service
Last updated: 1 June 2026
1. What Afara Africa is
Afara Africa is a non-custodial web interface that lets you interact with prediction markets operated by the Limitless protocol on the Base network. We do not run an exchange, do not custody user funds, and do not take the other side of any trade. All trades settle on-chain in USDC and are executed by your own self-custody wallet.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction, whichever is greater) to use Afara Africa. You may not use the interface if you are located in, or a resident of, any jurisdiction where access to prediction markets, derivatives, or the underlying Limitless protocol is prohibited — including the United States and any other region where Limitless restricts access.
3. No advice, no guarantees
Nothing on this site is financial, investment, legal, or tax advice. Market prices, descriptions, and other content are provided for information only and may be incorrect, delayed, or out of date. Outcomes are decided by the underlying protocol, not by us.
4. Self-custody and risk
You are solely responsible for your wallet, your seed phrase, the security of your device, the transactions you sign, and any taxes you owe. We cannot recover lost keys, reverse on-chain transactions, or refund losses. See our Risk Disclosure for more.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to use Afara Africa to launder funds, evade sanctions, manipulate markets, abuse the interface, or violate any law that applies to you. We may, at any time and without notice, restrict or remove access to the interface.
6. Third-party services
Afara Africa relies on third-party infrastructure including the Limitless protocol, the Base network, public RPC providers, and wallet providers such as WalletConnect. We do not control these services and are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, or behaviour.
7. Disclaimer of warranties
The interface is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranty of any kind, express or implied. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Afara Africa and its contributors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, revenue, data, or trading losses, arising out of or related to your use of the interface.
9. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the interface after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
